Happy World Vegan Day & Month 2020

World Vegan Day and World Vegan Month – World Vegan Day is celebrated annually on November 1. This day marks the beginning of the month of veganism, the whole month of November.

World Vegan Day and World Vegan Month

The date was chosen to commemorate the founding of The Vegan Society in November 1944. What better opportunity to discover or introduce people to veganism?

Here are some ideas to celebrate this important day and month:

– go to a vegan or vegetarian restaurant near you;

– organize a vegan dish party with your friends, where everyone brings a vegan dish to share;

– offer a video evening, with the projection of a film about animal rights;

– arrange for dinner with friends, by cooking vegan recipes, easily found on the Internet, especially on our site;

– offer or treat yourself to a book, there is something for everyone: essays, collections of vegan recipes, practical guides;

– organize an information stand on veganism, a simple and ethical choice, for the planet, for ourselves and especially for other animals!

Let’s make each day a vegan day!

World Vegan Month

The savviest is that November 1st is World Vegan Day. And given the enthusiasm of some people for the phenomenon for a few years, veganism is now celebrated throughout the month of November, and this around the world. A month of awareness during which, the followers recall the definition and the different forms of this practice but also share their experiences and their opinion on food and lifestyle in general.

Because being “vegan” is not just a matter of food! Here is what the definition of the word “vegan” tells us: to be vegan means to refuse to consume any product resulting from the exploitation (most often cruel) of animals, whether it is food (meat, fish, products dairy, eggs, honey) as well as also leisure (circus, zoo, bullfight), clothing (fur, leather, silk), and cosmetics tested on animals or containing products of animal origin.
